Spring Valley to flush hydrants

SPRING VALLEY — The city of Spring Valley will commence flushing water mains Sunday through May 10 beginning at 10 p.m. and ending at 5 a.m. During this time, residents should expect some increased turbidity and isolated areas of low pressure. If discoloration appears in drinking water, let the faucets run until the water clears.

Flushing will be scheduled as follows:

• Sunday to Monday: Areas west of Hall High School including Marquette Road, Briarcliff and Johnson Subdivisions and the industrial park.

• April 30-May 2: Areas north of Dakota Street including Cambridge Street and Spring Creek Subdivision.

• April 5-7: Areas west of Spalding Street and south of Dakota Street and East of John Mitchell Avenue.

• May 8-9: Areas east of Spalding Street and South of Dakota Street including Webster Park.
