PRINCETON — “Heartache Tonight,” a tribute concert to the music of the famous rock band, the Eagles, will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Grace Performing Arts Center, 316 S. Main St., Princeton.
The six multi-talented performers of “Heartache Tonight” bring together music from all eras and incarnations of the Eagles, which produced hits over four decades. In creating an Eagles concert experience, they reprise the vocal harmonies and guitar parts of the original Eagles. There are no pre-recorded backing tracks to the show.
The concert features a range of classic Eagles material from the a cappella harmonies of “Seven Bridges Road,” to the powerful guitars of “Hotel California” and “Life in the Fast Lane,” to the country rock of “Take It Easy.”
The “Heartache Tonight” musicians have shared the stage with Jimmy Buffett, Joe Cocker and the Doobie Brothers. They have performed at Taste of Chicago, the Ravinia Festival, Wrigley Field and music festivals across the country. Festival 56 is sponsoring their concert in Princeton.
Tickets are $18 per person. They can be purchased at the Festival 56 box office at the Grace. Box office hours are noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. They can also be purchased online at www.festival56.com or by calling the Festival 56 Box Office at 815-879-5656.
