Hall 5, Henry 2: Brett Fanning picked up the win with some relief help from Tagget Venegas, who pitched out of a seventh-inning jam for the save under the lights at Kirby Park Thursday. The Mallards scored two off Miguel Villareal, who came in on relief of Fanning in the fifth, and Ian Trevier walked two and struck out two before Venegas came on for the final out.

Blake Moreno led Hall (12-3, 4-0) with two hits and a RBI. Colton Zibert drove in a run with a base hit.

Fanning fanned nine while allowing one hit and one walk over four innings, departing with a 3-0 lead.

St. Bede 20, Seneca 3 (F/S): Winning pitcher Jarrett Olson went 5-5 with two home runs and hit for cycle. He also had seven RBIs. Anthony Truckenbrod also had four hits, one a home run with six RBIs. Jack Kunkel added four hits, including two doubles.  

Alleman 9, Princeton 3: The Pioneers improved to 16-0 with Thursday’s win.
