McInnes is charged with drug felony

WALNUT — A rural Walnut man has been charged with the Class 1 felony of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, heroin.

The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team (TRIDENT) arrested Travis J. McInnes, 31, at 2:35 p.m. April 24 in the 2800 block of North Main Street of Princeton.

McInnes delivered approximately 1.1 grams of heroin to a person working with TRIDENT and was immediately taken into custody by the task force agents and transported to the Bureau County Jail. McInnes is currently in custody awaiting a bond hearing.

All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
