Farm Bureau visits Le Claire
Join the Bureau and Stark County Farm Bureaus on June 5 for a relaxing day in Le Claire, Iowa. Located along the bend of the upper Mississippi River at the intersection of Interstate 80, Le Claire offers several options for an enjoyable and relaxing day.
At the Buffalo Bill Museum you'll discover fascinating history along the mighty Mississippi River that will entertain and educate. Featured exhibits include the new Civil War Encampment, The Lone Star Steamer, The Riverboat Pilots, The Sauk and Fox Indian Tribes, Le Claire's Famous Sons, just to name a few.
After the museum, an easy-going dining experience with homemade soups, salads and sandwiches will be had at The Crane & Pelican Café inside the renovated Dawley House. The Dawley House is a brick Italianate-style house built in 1851 by a riverboat captain and features Victorian-era chandeliers, a curved staircase and a metal fireplace.
