Spring Valley Police

Attempted robbery

Demetrius D. Denson, 22, of Spring Valley was arrested at 4:30 p.m. April 27 for attempted robbery following an investigation in which he allegedly attempted to steal a purse from a female in the parking lot of the Spring Valley Supermarket at 6:45 p.m. April 23.

Possession of cannabis

Casey S. Martin, 28, of Marion, Ind. was charged with possession of cannabis, driving in the wrong lane and speeding in the 600 block of West Erie Street at 7:40 p.m. April 24.

Disorderly conduct

Daniel E. Sawin Jr., 45, of Spring Valley was arrested for disorderly conduct after police were called to a disturbance in the 100 block of West St. Paul Street at 7:20 p.m. April 27.

Warrant arrest

Christina Mandujano, 42, of Spring Valley was arrested on a LaSalle County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving with a suspended license, in the 300 block of East Dakota Street at 5:29 p.m. April 24.

Cora L. Parker, 31, of Dalzell was arrested on a Bureau County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of no insurance, in the 200 block of East St. Paul Street at 12:16 a.m. April 28.


Patricia A. Noy, 66, of Spring Valley and Hailey R. Schindel, 20, of Tiskilwa were involved in an accident at the intersection of East Erie and Spalding Streets at 5:23 p.m. April 24.
