Maynard Kropf

DEER GROVE — Maynard David Kropf, 61, of Deer Grove died at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at his home after a short illness.

He was born Oct. 27, 1951, to Joe and Alice Kropf.

He was employed by Prairie Hybrid Seeds.

He was a member of the Amish Mennonite Church.

Surviving are three sisters, Norma Kropf of Deer Grove, Doris (Dan) Headings of Green Forest, Ark., and Sharon (James) Hostetler of Deer Grove; four brothers, Eugene (Luella) Kropf of Nelson, Mo., Marvin (Lydia) Kropf of Smithton, Mo., Lester (Joyce) Kropf of Tampico and LaVern (Gladys) Kropf of Tampico; two sisters-in-law, Judy Kropf of Berryville, Ark., and Mary Alice Kropf of Green Forest, Ark.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Willis and Willard; two infant sisters; and two nieces and one nephew.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Fairfield Amish Mennonite Church. Burial will be in the Fairfield Amish Mennonite Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Fairfield Amish School.

The Garland Funeral Home in Tampico is handling the arrangements.
