Roberts re-sentenced to prison for probation violation
PRINCETON — A LaSalle man has been re-sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections after admitting to violating the terms of his probation.
Rodney T. Roberts Jr., 21, appeared in Bureau County Court on April 29 before Circuit Judge Marc Bernabei.
Roberts was re-sentenced to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on two counts of the Class 2 felony of aggravated battery, with each count to be served concurrently. He was given credit for time served in the Bureau County Jail from June 16, 2011, to Aug. 1, 2011, and from March 16, to April 28. Roberts was also ordered to pay fines, fees and costs of $462 and a $200 DNA analysis fee.
