Genealogy meeting

OTTAWA — The LaSalle County Genealogy Guild will meet at 1 p.m. May 18 at the Guild library, 115 W. Glover St. in Ottawa. Judy Rosengren of rural Serena will speak on “Roots and Wings.”

Meeting set

PRINCETON — Princeton Junior Home Extension will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Ramona Wedding, hostess. Nancy Carper from the senior center will be the guest speaker. The co-hostess will be Marge Zimmerman.

Sandbox fill

PRINCETON — The Princeton Jaycees will hold its annual sandbox fill on May 18. Those wishing to have a sandbox filled should contact Nathan Helsinger at 513-289-2299 or Nathan.Helsinger@gmail.com by Thursday and leave a name, address, directions if necessary, phone number, and the size and location of the sandbox. Registration continues

PRINCETON — Registration continues for Camp 56, the two-week day camp June 17-28 with campers performing in “Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat” in July. Registration materials may be obtained at the Festival 56 Box Office, under the education tab of the Festival’s website or by emailing illinoisalliance4artsed@gmail.com. Old Wheels Show

PRINCETON — The First Lutheran Church will present the fifth annual Old Wheels Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 18 in the church parking lots at 116 N. Pleasant St. in Princeton. This year the show will feature the Corvette. Other activities include a train for the children to ride, food and beverages, a bake sale and music. To enter a vehicle in the show, call the church office at 815-875-1685.
