Fifth annual Old Wheels Show on Saturday

PRINCETON — The First Lutheran Church will present the fifth annual Old Wheels Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the church parking lots at 116 N. Pleasant St. in Princeton.

Lots of vintage and antique cars, tractors, trucks, motorcycles and other collector vehicles will be on hand for viewing. This year the show will feature the Corvette, and there will be many to see. There will be a train for the children to ride. Pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs and soft drinks will be served between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. A bake sale and music will be featured as well. Admission is free.

The Old Wheels show was established as a way to reach out into the community to build fellowship with neighbors and a way to make new friends. The church canvasses the neighborhood to invite people and address any needs they may have through the church’s prayer ministry.

Anyone with a vehicle they would like to enter in the show can call the church office at 815-875-1685. There is also a Facebook page at Old-Wheels-Car-Show.
