BRADFORD — Bonnie S. Erdman, 70, of Bradford passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born March 12, 1943, in California to Morris and Dorothy May (Anderson) Peterson. She graduated from Long Beach High School in Long Beach, Calif., in 1961. Bonnie married Kenneth L. Erdman Sr. on June 24, 1963. He died on March 1, 2012.
Bonnie worked for the GE Telephone Company for over 10 years and for the Kewanee Police Department as a dispatcher. She loved cooking, baking and Indian artifacts. Bonnie also enjoyed nature, especially camping and bird watching.
Bonnie is survived by her four children, Kenneth L. (Margaret) Erdman Jr. of Byron, Ga., James (Cathi) Erdman of Kewanee, Leanne (Gregg) Bates of Princeton and Daniel Erdman of Bradford. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Kenneth L. Erdman III of Byron, Ga., Eli and Lucas Bates of Princeton, and Jacob Erdman of Kewanee; one sister, Maureen Reed of Idaho; and one brother, Larry Peterson of Kewanee.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband; a granddaughter, Jamie Sue Pollock; and a brother, James Peterson.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be private and at a later date. The family requests no memorials.
