PRINCETON — Mary Jane Schlindwein, 93, of Princeton passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at her home.
Born May 15, 1919, in Kewanee to Edward and Eva (Fleming) Wagner, she married Edward Schlindwein Sept. 7, 1940, in Kewanee. He died May 7, 2008.
She graduated from Kewanee High School in 1937. She and her late husband formed the Princeton News Agency and it remained in the family for 50 years.
She was an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church, volunteered at the bloodmobile and was an associate of the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation.
Surviving are four children, Phil (Sandy) Schlindwein of Florida, Tim (Jill) Schlindwein of Oakbrook, Mary (Art) Poppens of Wisconsin and Paul (Teri) Schlindwein of Princeton; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and three brothers.
All services will be private.

The Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, was in charge of arrangements.
