DEPUE — A new Girl Scouts troop has formed in DePue.

Leader Toreen Learned welcomed 13 girls into Troop 1618 in March. The group meets twice a month, the first and third Wednesday of each month, in the cafeteria of DePue School.

There are three groups in DePue — Daisies for ages 5 to 6; Brownies for ages 7 to 9; and Juniors for ages 10-12. The group are open to girls in the DePue area. The girls will attend day camp in Princeton in July.

Jessica Sellers is the assistant leader.
