LaMoille High School honors Illinois State Scholars

LAMOILLE — Three LaMoille High School students have been recognized as 2013 Illinois State Scholars. The award is given annually by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC).

Chosen for the award were: Meredith Stamberger, the daughter of Tim and Susan Stamberger; McKenzie Billhorn, the daughter of Tom and Denise Billhorn; and Joseph Bacidore, the son of Michael and Barbara Bacidore.

Illinois State Scholar winners rank in the top 10 percent of high school seniors from 798 high schools across the state. Selection is based on SAT, ACT and/or Prairie State Achievement Exam scores and/or class rank at the end of their junior year.
