PRINCETON — Alice M. Pizzuto, 92, of Princeton passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Liberty Village of Princeton.
She was born July 11, 1920, in Cicero, Ill., to Elmer and Victoria (Beutelstacher) Plumer. She attended Morton East High School in Cicero. She married Carmen Pizzuto in 1951 in the Concordia Church in Berwyn. He preceded her in death in 1984.
She worked at Sunbeam in Cicero for 16 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and the Zion Lutheran Church in Lyons. She participated in activities at the Bureau County Senior Center and was part of the Esther Circle at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren's sport activities.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (John) Garvin of Princeton; two grandchildren, John Garvin of Peoria and Kurt Garvin of Princeton; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her husband, parents and one brother, Elmer Plumer.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Princeton, with the Rev. Alfred Beck officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery in Forest Park.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Norberg Memorial Home in Princeton.
