Eurith Strader

WALNUT — Eurith Edna Strader, 75, of Walnut died Saturday, June 1, 2013, at her home in Walnut.

Edie was born Aug. 16, 1937, in Dixon, the daughter of Harry and Edna (Clark) LaBar. She was united in marriage to Frank Strader in Dixon on April 20, 1956. Edie attended Blackhawk and IVCC colleges and became a real estate broker along with various other jobs.

She is survived by her husband, Frank of Walnut; one daughter, Nina (Robert) Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas; one son Ben (Kim) Strader of Walnut; four grandchildren, Ashley, Kristi, Frank and Megan; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Taylor of LaCrosse, Wis.; one brother, Harry (Catherine) LaBar of Charlotte, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Christian Church of Walnut. Burial will be in the Walnut Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.

A memorial has been established to the Alzheimer's Association.
