Auxiliary Unit 125 holds Poppy Days

PRINCETON — Poppy Days for American Legion Woman's Auxiliary Unit 125 was held May 25 and 26 at various Princeton businesses.

Bernice Burke was the poppy chairman. Others offering poppies for donations were Carol Allicks, Clara Pease, Mariele Fisher, Judy Nauman, Helen Rich, Lydia Foehring, Agnes Dunn, Sherry DeSalle and Lillian Johnson.

The Auxiliary raises monies for their veterans work each year by offering the red poppies to the public for donations and uses the monies realized for the workshop supplies for the veterans in the four nursing homes the unit serves each month and for those still serving overseas.
