Twila Mazzorana

WALNUT — Twila June (Kincheski) Mazzorana, 85, formerly of Peru, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013, at Walnut Manor nursing home in Walnut, where she resided for the last three years.

Born Dec. 1, 1927, in Peru to Frank and Hazel (Hockings) Kincheski, she married Dell Mazzorana March 1, 1947, in Peru. He preceded her in death.

She worked at EUC in LaSalle and later at Bogart’s Restaurant in Dalzell.

Surviving are four sons, Mark (LaDonna) Mazzorana of Hannibal, Mo., Dave Mazzorana of Warrenville, Tom Mazzorana of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Paul Mazzorana of Chicago; two sisters, Mildred Stevenson of Peru and Carol (Bill) Gerber of LaSalle; five grandchildren, Garrett Mazzorana of Hannibal, Mo., Cody Mazzorana of Princeton, Will Mazzorana of Hannibal, Mo., and Andrew and Imani Mazzorana of Chicago; and nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Tim Mazzorana; and one sister, Phyllis Hageman.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Ptak Funeral Home in Peru. Burial will be private in the Peru City Cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded.
