Domestic battery

Jason L. Huddleston, 37, of Neponset was charged with domestic battery at 11 a.m. June 17 in Neponset.

Deer accident

Julie E. Bassetti, 34, of Princeton was traveling at 11 p.m. June 15 on the Princeton-Tiskilwa Road, one-half mile north of 1150 North Avenue, when her vehicle hit a deer.

Accidents

John P. Romanelli, 56, of Arlington was driving at 2:45 p.m. June 9 on Plank Road, 150 feet north of Cherry, when he pulled his John Deere corn planter to the side of the road to allow approaching vehicles to go around. When pulling to the side of the road, a marker arm on the right side of the planter fell off, striking a utility pole owned by Ameren and causing the power line on the south side of the intersection to fall. The pole and braking caused a subsequent grass fire.

Michael J. Goodrum, 38, of Spring Valley was involved in an accident at 9:30 p.m. June 5 while traveling on 2150 North Avenue, about 225 feet east of 2050 East Street. He was ticketed for  driving too fast for conditions and driving with defective or no brakes.

Jordan M. G. Brown, 24, of Princeton was involved in an accident at 4 a.m. June 12 while traveling on Route 26, about 300 feet south of 1950 North Avenue. He was charged with driving too fast for conditions.

Justin J. Tate, 22, of LaMoille and Thomas L. Broeren, 47, of Walnut were involved in an accident at 9:15 a.m. June 17 on 3380 East Street, at the intersection with 1900 North Avenue. Tate was charged with driving too fast for conditions.

A 16-year-old Princeton girl and a 17-year-old Princeton boy were involved in an accident at 10 p.m. June 18 on 1600 North Avenue, one-half mile west of Epperson Road.

DUI

Kevin M. Cole, 29, of Sheffield was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving too fast for conditions at 8:54 p.m. May 30 on Route 6, one-eighth mile east of 975 East Street.
