HENRY — Joann Marie (Duncan) Golden, 61, of Henry died at 3:55 a.m. at her home.
Born March 25, 1952, in Peoria to C. Earl and Audrey M. (Potter) Duncan, she married Paul D. Golden Aug. 19, 1995. He preceded her death.
She attended Woodruff High School, graduating in 1971. After traveling, she settled in Colorado Springs, Colo., where she was a student of the CS Deaf & Blind School. She managed several Texaco stations in the area.
She was a member of Boyd’s Grove United Methodist Church, and was an active member and volunteer until her health no longer permitted.
Surviving are her mother, Audrey Denholm; two sisters, Sandy (Kevin) Stewart of Mesa, Ariz., and Shirley Feurer of Lynnwood, Wash.; three nieces, Jennifer (Roger) Tucker of Henry, Tess Prange of Bellvue, Neb., and Mariah (Peter) Calkins of Mountlake Terrace, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Shannon and Allison; one granddaughter, Aurora; and special friend and caregiver, Keri Meyers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Boyd’s Grove United Methodist Church, rural Bradford, with Pastor Amy Holman officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Graveside services for the family will be in Avon, Ill.
