Auxiliary elects officers and appoints chairs

PRINCETON — American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary Unit 125 of Princeton finalized its nominations and elections of new officers for the 2013-14 year at its business meeting on June 12.

Those elected were: Carol Allicks, president; Clara Pease, vice president; Mariele Fisher, treasurer; Carol Allicks, historian; and Bernice Burke, sergeant at arms.

Appointed to chairs were: Sherry DeSalle, secretary; Bernice Burke, chaplain; Bernice Burke, poppy chairman; Carol Allicks, public relations; Carol Allicks, membership; Bernice Burke, Good Will; and Clara Pease, VA&R. Others will be assigned as the need arises in the Unit.

Anyone interested in membership with the Auxiliary needs to contact Carol Allicks at 815-872-7891 in the evenings or attend any scheduled business meeting at the Legion Post Home on the second Wednesday at 7 p.m. All eligible applicants are welcome to attend.
