At St. Bede, Brayton excelled in both volleyball and basketball. She helped lead Coach Dawn Williams’ Lady Bruin volleyball team to a 25-10 record as a senior, earning all-area honorable mention from the Bureau County Republican.

In basketball, Brayton was a two-time BCR first team all-area selection and Co-Player of the Year as a senior. She is the daughter of Daryk and Kathy Brayton of La Salle.
