Library hosts China program

PRINCETON — Dr. Jon McCutchan will reprise his talk and slide show on his travels in the People's Republic of China at 6:30 p.m. July 16 at the Princeton Public Library. McCutchan spent two weeks in China in 2012.

While there he visited Shanghai and Beijing including the Forbidden City, 2008 Olympic venue, the Great Wall and Tiananmen Square, cruised the Yangtze River to visit the Three Gorges and Three Gorges Sam, toured Chongqing home to the General Stillwell Museum, Chongqing Zoo pandas, Flying Tigers Museum and toured Xian including the Terra Cotta Warriors and the Wild Good Pagoda.

The program is part of the library's summer reading program, "Have Book, Will Travel."
