Cloverbud Program designed for youth ages 5 to 7

A special youth program for 5-7 year olds is available through the University of Illinois Extension - Bureau County office. The 4-H Cloverbud Program is specifically designed to meet the educational needs and interests of this younger age group.

A countywide Cloverbud group exists for youth throughout the county; some 4-H Community Clubs also accept Cloverbud members. Interested individuals and communities may inquire to start their own Cloverbud group.

The 4-H Cloverbud Program is activity-based and involves participation in cooperative, non-competitive, hands-on activities. Youth gain immediate results and positive feedback while having fun!

Interested day care center managers, teachers, home school leaders, parents or potential volunteers who would like to learn more about the program should call the Extension office at 815-875-2878.
