Mayor issues challenge to alderman, employees, residents
SPRING VALLEY — At this week's meeting of the Spring Valley City Council, Spring Valley Mayor Walt Marini has issued a challenge to the alderman, city employees and residents to bring back the pride to the city.
“Together we can make Spring Valley a great place to live,” Marini said at Monday’s council meeting.
Recently, Marini was out and saw several small things that would be inexpensive to fix but would make a dramatic improvement to the city’s aesthetics. There was a sign in Webster Park that was bent over, and other signs that were barely readable or completely unreadable.
