Sheffield Historical Society plans open house, dinner

SHEFFIELD — The Sheffield Historical Society will host an open house and dinner in the park at 6 p.m. Aug. 2.

The public is invited to have dinner at Veterans School Park and visit the museum to see all of the changes that have been made. The meal will be a hamburger or hot dog, sides, drink and dessert for $6, with kids under 5 $2. A bake sale will also be held. In case of rain, the dinner will be held at the Community Center. Music will be provided by Jack Ness.

The historical society will also show the games when the boys went to state about 8:15 p.m. at the theater in Sheffield. They will also have the DVD to sell.
