PRINCETON — Loren Fredrick Miller, 87, of Princeton passed away Monday, July 29, 2013, at Manor Court of Princeton.
He was born June 10, 1926, in Annawan to Fredrick and Dorothy (Lambert) Miller. He received his education in Bureau County, graduating from Princeton High School in 1944. He joined the U.S. Army in September 1944 and served in the European Theater. He was honorably discharged in August 1946. He worked for Trans World Airlines in Chicago for over 30 years and loved reading in his spare time.
He is survived by one sister, Lorna C. (Floyd D.) Wyatt of Skiatook, Okla.; and 11 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton, with Pastor Tim Batchelor officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Lawn Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. The VFW Honor Guard will be present.
