Hartmann, Rowley win city open

PRINCETON — Scott Hartmann won the championship of the 2013 Greater Princeton Open with a 160 over 36 holes at Wyaton Hills and Chapel Hills golf courses, two shots better than Jordan Twidell, who carded a 162.

Michelle Rowley was the ladies champion with a 192, edging Ann Lusher, who carded a 197 over 36 holes

A Flight winner for the men was Will Gross with a 168, while Scott Underwood won the B Flight with a 186. Bill Grotti won the seniors (60-70 years old) with a 154, while Ron Cordum won the super seniors (70 years old and above) with a 153.

Carol Towne won the A Flight for the ladies with a 203, while Sophia Suarez placed second with a 207.

Max Hallberg Sr. of Wyaton Hills said the weather was perfect for the two days of the tourney with 35 golfers.
