Night Zip

SPRING VALLEY — Hall Township’s Echo Bluff Park will hold a Night Zip from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The event is $15 per person. Participants will receive a glow necklace and can go on the zip line as the sun sets over the Illinois Valley. To reserve a spot, call 815-447-2115.

PMH Auxiliary turns 65

PRINCETON — The Perry Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is celebrating its 65th year with an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the medical office building lobby. Refreshments will be served. Attendees will have the opportunity to become a member of the PMH Auxiliary at the open house. Dues are $10 per year. Those who join the Auxiliary between now and Aug. 31 will be entered into a drawing for an iPad mini.

Poker run planned

OHIO, Ill. — Pipe’s Pub in Ohio, Ill., will host a poker run, “Ride, Hope, Cure ALS,” on Sept. 7. The event will also include food and musical entertainment. All vehicles are welcome. For more information, call 815-376-2072.
