PRINCETON — Catholic school teachers, administrators and DREs from Region III schools gathered at St. Louis School in Princeton Aug. 15 to listen to a presentation by Mary Kay Morrison.
Morrison spoke about using humor to maximize learning. Her work includes integrating what is known about applying cognitive research on both the emotions and movement to learning. She is the founder and director of Humor Quest and has authored several books. Her presentation was funded by a grant from the Fulton Sheen Endowment Fund.
After her presentation, the pre-kindergarten through high school teachers and administrators attended Mass for the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, shared a lunch and then broke out by grade levels and subject areas to share ideas, lessons and units of study.
