Historical Society meeting

DIXON  — The Lee County Historical Society will have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the second floor conference room of KSB Hospital in Dixon. The evening’s program will feature a video title Prince Castles “One in a Million” and will have Ted Fredenhagen and Earl Prince, sons of the original founders. Quilt guild meeting

OGLESBY — The Nine Patch Quilt Guild will meet at 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, at the Dickinson House in Oglesby. Members are invited to bring items for the garage sale to be held during the meeting. American Legion meeting

SPRING VALLEY — Dominic OBerto Post 182 of the American Legion will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at the KC Club rooms, 307 W. St. Paul St., Spring Valley.
