Shooting sports club adds archery

The Bureau County 4-H Shooting Sports club will offer its second program which will be in the discipline of archery beginning Sept. 22 and continue for the following six weeks.

Youth do not need to be enrolled in a 4-H Community Club to participate. The program is open to all youth who are 8-18 years old as of Sept. 1. There is limited space available in the program, and advanced registration is required. There is a $25 fee for the archery program, and youth ho are not already part of a 4-H Community Club may also be required to pay an annual $20 program fee. Youth do not need to own archery equipment to participate.

To register, contact the University of Illinois Extension office at 815-875-2878. Youth who have previously completed enrollment paperwork should call to confirm they will be attending.
