Gateway Services asks for donations for new CILA home
PRINCETON — Late fall construction on a new group home will be completed on North Main Street for eight Gateway Services individuals.
The duplex that is being built by Jonathan and Juli Mabry will allow individuals to be more independent, still having 24-hour direct care staff on hand, but with less one-on-one assistance and more guidance for daily life activities, said Jene Kinsley, Gateway Services' director of residential services.
Gateway is seeking donations to purchase furniture, or other housewares (dishes, decorations, etc.) to turn this house into a home for these individuals. Gateway hopes to transform their new home into a place that they look forward to living in and entertaining family and friends. These items are designed to be more durable and utilized on a long-term basis for facilities like Gateway.
