Jones sentenced to prison for armed robbery
PRINCETON — A Kewanee man was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty in Bureau County Court to the Class 1 felony of aggravated robbery.
David E. Jones, 31, entered his guilty plea on Sept. 6 before Associate Circuit Judge C.J. Hollerich. Jones was given credit for time served from his arrest on May 18 through Sept. 5.
Jones was represented in court by Assistant Public Defender Eric May. Prosecuting the case was State’s Attorney Patrick Herrmann.
