Jackie “Jack” L. Hooker

TISKILWA — Jackie (Jack) Leroy Hooker, 65, of Tiskilwa passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at home with his loved ones.

He was born on June 30, 1948, in Princeton to Arthur and Betty Jane (Murphy) Hooker Jr. He married Beverly Ellis on Dec. 1, 1966, in Princeton. She survives. He attended Tiskilwa schools and owned his own heating and plumbing business. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; one son, Steven Hooker; one daughter, Angela (Jeremy) Owens; two grandchildren, Kelsey and Keagan; two brothers, Jerry (Dianna) Hooker, and John (Pat) Hooker; one sister, Glynnia (Randy) Fitch; one aunt, Joy (Rich) Yucks; and his mother-in-law, Eunice Ellis. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be at noon Monday at the Norberg Memorial Home. Deacon John Murphy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday at the Norberg Memorial Home.
