Williams is sentenced to prison
PRINCETON — A Princeton woman has been sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections after being convicted of the Class 4 felony of unlawful possession of another’s credit card.
April Williams, 29, was convicted of the Class 4 felony on Sept. 5 before Circuit Judge Marc Bernabei. She was sentenced to one and one-half years in the Department of Corrections with one year mandatory supervised release. She was credited with time served in custody from July 10 to Sept. 4.
The court entered a finding that Williams’ offense was committed as a result of the use, abuse or addiction to alcohol or a controlled substance. In addition to the prison sentence, Williams was also ordered to pay fines, fees and court costs totaling $627 and to make restitution in the amount of $403 by Aug. 27, 2014.
