Wyanet looks at new vehicles
WYANET—The Wyanet Village Board discussed the purchase of several new vehicles at its meeting Tuesday.
Wyanet Trustee John Swarczewski and Police Chief Todd Marquez presented several bids to the board for the possible purchase of a new dump truck, a new pick-up truck and a new police squad car.
Marquez had obtained a bid from Piehl Motors for the purchase of a 2013 Chevrolet Impala, police package, for $22,470. Marquez had also received a bid from Browning Ford for a 2014 Ford Explorer, police package. The total for the Ford Explorer to be used as a squad car would be $27,690.
