Seniors take care of business for PHS tennis

Princeton senior Courtney Webb makes a return in Thursday’s match with Mendota. She was one of three winning positions of all seniors who contributed in the Tigresses’ 3-2 win on Senior Night.

The seniors took care of business on Senior Night for the Princeton High School tennis team.

The Tigresses beat Mendota 3-2 behind seniors Jen O’Neil (6-1, 6-0) and Courtney Webb (6-3, 6-1) in singles and Emma Reidner and Megan Smith (6-2, 6-3) at No. 3 doubles.

Seniors include Laura Behrends, Chloe Baron, Jessica Birkey, Fran Bowman, Tiffany Deguzman, Lindsay Hartwig, Hannah Lund, Lexi Mink, O’Neil, Reidner, Smith and Courtney Webb.

The Princeton F/S had a 5-0 whitewash with Angelica Jones (8-1), Julia Bauer (8-5), Elise Blocki and Mallory Wheeler (8-4), Salena Olson and Mackenzie Geldean (8-5) and Danielle May and Hannah Erickson (8-1).
