PRINCETON — Heartland Band & Trust has released the meaning behind the clues that eventually led to finding the Heartland Great Medallion, which was found Thursday evening at Princeton’s “Little Siberia.”
Clue No. 1
Heartland’s Great Medallion Hunt begins today,
Get a team together and get ready to play.
Our annual quest may have a new name,
But the rules haven’t changed for playing the game.
“It’s Good To Be Home” is this year’s theme,
Locating the Medallion is the seeker’s dream.

Clue No. 2
WZOE and the BCR will release the clues,

Find the Medallion and you will be in the news.
$1000 in winnings is what you will get,
With a classic car ride in the parade a sure bet.

Our clues may lead you around and about.

Clue No. 3
Sometimes it’s confusing where to look first,
A lot of excitement, so please do not burst.

You may need to stand tall or crouch way down low,

But you won’t have to destroy or dig up things that grow.

Let your mind wander free, as you find a way in.

Clue No. 4
We’re on the 4th clue and it hasn’t been found,
Don’t sit on the fence, put both feet on the ground.

Practice your sleuthing skills, don’t waste any time.

Take note of each word and key in on our clues,

If you miss the signs, you’ll be playing the blues.

There’s little time left to uncover the treasure,

The gateway will lead you to monetary pleasure.

Clue No. 6
No foul play is allowed in this kind of hunt,
You can score big, whether by home run or bunt.
