Helping to feed the children

Russ Naaktgeboren (center), representing the First United Presbyterian Church in Princeton, presents a $500 check to Laurie Gustafson (left) and Rev. Brenda Lovick (right) for the Bureau Valley Buddy Bags program for the Bureau Valley School District. The Buddy Bags program helps provide weekend food for qualifying students in the younger grades at Bureau Valley. The cost to provide enough food for 35 Buddy Bags is projected at about $7,500 a school year, or about $5 per bag for two days. Monetary donations can be mailed to Bureau Valley Buddy Bags; P.O.
