Madsen enters guilty pleas to charges
PRINCETON — A Princeton man has pleaded guilty in Bureau County Court to the Class 3 felony of theft and the Class A misdemeanor of deceptive practices.
Thomas M. Madsen, 46, entered open pleas of guilty before Circuit Judge Marc Bernabei. The judge ordered the probation department to conduct a pre-sentence investigation and then set a sentencing hearing for 10 a.m. Nov. 8.
Madsen was represented in court by Assistant Public Defender Eric May. Prosecuting the case was Bureau County State's Attorney Patrick Herrmann.
