Hannah June Hultine

PRINCETON — Hannah June Hultine, 91, of Princeton passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at her home.

Born July 17, 1922, in Princeton to Charles H. and Ella (Stiles) Vroom, she married Glenn F. Hultine Nov. 24, 1946, in Princeton. He preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 2010.

She graduated from Princeton High School in 1940. She was crowned Miss Princeton in 1941. She was a life-long homemaker, a dedicated farm wife and also worked at Peterson's Clothing Store. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are three children, Sandra (Pat) Noto of Ottawa, Lynn (Kathy) Hultine of Princeton and June (Gail) Ohlson of Ohio, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Laura (Brett) Bruner of Missouri, Anthony (Mary) Noto of Ottawa, Amanda Diers of Indiana, Sarah (David) Massengale of Missouri, David (Emalie) Ohlson of Princeton, Ellen (Jeff) Day of Dunlap and Evan Hultine of Princeton; and numerous great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews, especially Jay (Jamie) Vroom of Virginia.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother and his wife, Sanford and Marion Vroom.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton with Pastor Gene Vincent officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the American Red Cross and First Lutheran Church of Princeton.
