From the editor’s desk
I was enjoying an early evening cup of coffee on my deck Sunday night, as I watched darkness envelope my home and yard. Quite frankly, I didn’t even know what time it was, but I assumed it was getting close to 8 p.m. Imagine my surprise when I went inside to grab a jacket and realized it wasn’t even 7 p.m. yet. Ugh!
That’s right, friends. Mother Nature is stealing the sun right out from underneath us these days, which translates to the days getting shorter and shorter. Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, Nov. 3, so enjoy the dwindling daylight while you can.
