Learning Stage plans Chicago trip

PRINCETON — Learning Stage, the education committee of the Princeton Theatre Group, has announced its fall 2013 theater bus tour, It’s Greek to Me. The event, which will take place on Nov. 17, will offer participants a day long immersion into Greek history and culture, capped by a performance of “An Iliad” at Chicago’s Court Theatre.

Following a motorcoach drive to Chicago, the day will begin with a guided visit to the National Hellenic Museum. After the tour, guests will have the opportunity to visit the gift shop before proceeding to one of Greektown’s traditional taverns for a multi-course meal served family-style. They will then re-board the bust for a short drive the University of Chicago’s Hyde Park campus for the Court Theatre’s Sunday matinee performance.
