Boy Scouts retire 166 flags
Cherry Boy Scout Troop 1055 retired approximately 166 U.S. flags on Sept. 11. They do this every year on the second Wednesday of September. There were 20 Boy Scout members, six leaders, one Cub Scout from LaMoille Pack 4059 and several parents present for the ceremony. The ceremony last about an hour and a half. This we one of the largest flag retiring services the troop has ever done.
