SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Paul David Grant Jr., 46, of Sacramento, Calif., passed away in body only at 6:49 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013. He departed quickly at his home of complications due to an enlarged heart which is testimony to him figuratively as well.
He was born July 5, 1967, in Peru to Paul and Phyllis (Rosinski) Grant.
He was a graduate of Princeton High School. He worked in great favor for Del Monte and on various construction jobs that took him many places. He had attended the Princeton Bible Church prior to moving to California where he maintained his ever deepening faith in The Lord, his Rock. Paul's hobbies included a passion for collecting football cards, fishing, biking and watching his beloved Pittsburg Steelers!
Surviving are his mother, Phyllis Grant of Roseville, Calif.; one sister, Lori Kirk of Citrus Heights, Calif.; one brother, Douglas Grant of Sacramento, Calif.; two nieces, Savannah and Sierra Kirk of Citrus Heights, Calif.; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
A celebration of his life will be held Oct. 26 at the Metro Calvary Church in Roseville, Calif. Cremation rites have been accorded in California. A gravesite service will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 9 at the Peru City Cemetery, Peru, for family and close friends.
Paul was greatly loved and will be greatly missed!
