Marion Bickett

TISKILWA — Marion B. Bickett, 86, of Tiskilwa, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at the Walnut Manor Nursing Home in Walnut.

Marion was born Oct. 3, 1927, in rural Bradford to Oscar and Margurite (Charles) Borg. She married James F. Bickett on June 28, 1948, in Tiskilwa. She had worked as a bookkeeper and at the Pioneer research lab as a lab tech. She was a beloved mother and adored grandmother.

She is survived by her three daughters, Kathy Krauss of LaSalle, Margaret (Tom) Stewart of St. Charles and Lynn (Rich) Holm of Newman; four grandchildren, Brandon Carlson, Katie Schwartz, Nathan Holm and Malea Holm; five great-grandchildren, Mayah, Sophia and Tessa Carlson, and Emma Rose and Olivia Schwartz; one brother, Dale (Sharon) Borg of Sevierville, Tenn.; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James F. Bickett in 2007; one sister, Doris Whitfield; and one son-in-law, Skip Krauss.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home, Princeton, with Rich Holm officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
