Zearing Child Enrichment Center has new leadership
Lott is new director; Sampson is assistant director
PRINCETON — Zearing Child Enrichment Center Board of Directors announce Heidi Lott has accepted the position as Zearing Child Enrichment Center director, and Nicole Sampson has accepted the position of assistant director.
Lott joined ZCEC in November 2011 as the director of educational development when ZCEC and Learning Ladder ECC merged their organizations. Prior to joining ZCEC, Lott worked as the director of Learning Ladder ECC since May 2006 and also as director for Bright Horizons Family Solutions.
As she continues her journey at ZCEC, Lott said she looks forward to the continual growth the center shows each day. She welcomes all communication opportunities and looks forward to building stronger relationships with each of the families, children and staff in the ZCEC program, as well as the community.
Sampson will continue to be the co-teacher in the toddler classroom as well as the assistant director. She has been at ZCEC for 13 years and has spent time working in administration as support and as the interim program director as well as being a teacher in a several different classrooms. Sampson has shown her dedication to ZCEC over the years with her willingness to help in any capacity that she is needed.
Zearing Child Enrichment Center (ZCEC) is a not-for-profit, Illinois Department of Child and Family Services (IDCFS) and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) certified, early childhood education center serving the educational, social and developmental needs of Princeton area children from birth to 12 years. ZCEC was established in 1974 and has grown from 30 children to its current licensing capacity of 153 children. ZCEC is located at 633 Masonic Drive in Princeton.
