Deer accidents

A vehicle driven by Yesenia Quinonez, 26, of Kewanee struck a deer on 250 East Street near 1000 North Avenue at 7 a.m. Oct. 14.

A vehicle driven by Connie J. McNally, 53, of Arlington struck a deer on Route 6 near 1500 East Street at 9 p.m. Oct. 7.

A vehicle driven by Timothy E. Ploch, 44, of Oglesby struck a deer on Route 6 near 2300 North Avenue at 7:22 p.m. Oct. 11.

A vehicle driven by Stanley Balensieren, 62, of Tiskilwa struck a deer on 450 North Avenue near 1900 East Street at 7:05 p.m. Oct. 9.

Accidents

After an accident on 2600 North Avenue near 2550 East Street at 3:13 a.m. Oct. 12, Ryan A. Yost, 18, of Princeton was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

After an accident on 1325 North Avenue at 3 a.m. Oct. 11, Josh Grant, 22, of Kewanee was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

After an accident on Route 29 near 3065 East Street at 1:25 p.m. Sept. 27, Nicole M. Wachs, 32, of DePue was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

After an accident on Route 40 near 1000 North Avenue at 2 a.m. Oct. 13, Austin M. Buckman, 22, of Buda was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident.

Disobeying stop sign

Helen E. Bickett, 80, of Princeton was charged with disobeying a stop sign on 2300 East Street near 1000 North Avenue at 12:11 p.m. Oct. 13.

Battery

Felica K. Miller, 26, of DePue and Matthew J. McCauley, 23, of Malden were charged with battery at Lock 6 in Tiskilwa at 1:56 p.m. Oct. 10.

Driving under the influence of alcohol

Michael P. Kirkhove, 45, of Kewanee was charged with improper lane usage, driving with a suspended/revoked driver’s license, driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol on the Mineral Blacktop near Mineral at 10:36 p.m. Oct. 13.
