PHS offense erupts

Rockridge 62, Princeton 35: The Tigers had an impressive offensive showing late, outscoring the No. 4 ranked Rockets 22-6 over the second half Friday night in Edgington. PHS had only scored 41 points coming into the game.

Quarterback Jake Reinhardt threw for four touchdowns, threw into the hands of J.J. Vaccaro. Logan Wilde also had a touchdown by rush and one by receiving.

“Our kids came out and battled for four quarters. I’m very happy with the effort from them tonight,” PHS coach Jesse Snyder said.

The Tigers scored first in the game, but Rockridge (8-0, 5-0) took off for leads of 31-7 at the quarter break and 50-13 at halftime.
